For mount proxy on Windows operating systems, the iSCSI Initiator service must be running during the virtual machine disk mount operation and the file restore operation.
For a Windows mount proxy system, IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments recovery agent 8.1.17 must be also installed and configured.
For mount or file restore operations from server backups, iSCSI connection is required on the mount proxy system.
