In order to fill this pool you need 1000 units of, let's say, S. Your production output is like a big pool. This is of course correct, but you need to understand one thing. You may ask, what do you need all those extra points for, you may as well construct new building. It is not shown, but your dweller with 10 in Perception + 7 P from outfit has in fact 17 Perception. However, you may have as much as 17 in one category. Every dweller have his/her SPECIAL set of abilities, which can be upgraded to 10.

Let's take a closer look at your dweller. This is misleading, in fact, it doesn't make them the best. For all those minimaxers and optimisation freaks like me, getting all achievements is one thing, but honestly, are you interested in making your vault weak? In order to make your vault stronger, you have to make your people stronger. It shouldn't be, by any means, connected with historical version of this word.
