The main system requirements for Age of Empires III are actually pretty tame and should be passable by most modern PCs. There is also a powerful level editor that allows you to create your own maps and campaigns (Note: This feature may increase the system requirements and the only supported language is English). Choose an RPG-style leader class from among the Sorcerer, Theocrat, Rogue, Warlord, Archdruid, or the Dreadnought, each with their own unique abilities that lend themselves to various playstyles. Imagine a game like Civilization 6 with a healthy helping of fantasy elements scattered throughout.
A little over five years ago (March 31, 2014), Triumph Studios and Paradox Interactive released Age of Wonders III, an epic turn-based strategy game with some RPG elements mixed in.
